LAMDA

A Conversation with Art
Mrs Rachel Dent, Head of School, read to the City Campus children and reflected on the role that reading plays in education, and in our lives.
LAMDA

LAMDA – The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art is an extremely popular activity at Harrow Beijing, from Year 1 to 13 offering courses in Speaking in Public, Verse and Prose, Musical Theatre, Acting, the Shakespeare Qualification and the PCERT Diploma.

LAMDA examinations are not only about achievement through communication, recognising and rewarding the endeavours of each individual, they are also about empowerment. LAMDA examinations support all round education by building confidence and self-esteem as all of the courses involved in LAMDA focus on building the ability to express oneself more effectively through the soft skills learnt, whilst inspiring creative thinking skills and supporting in-depth learning of English language and English-speaking skills by providing high value, high quality qualifications in communication and performance.

The experience and knowledge that pupils gain enrich them in many unique ways by giving increased confidence, improved public speaking skills, listening and observation skills. All of these techniques are learned in a fun and understated way.
