Mrs Rachel Dent, Head of School, read to the City Campus children and reflected on the role that reading plays in education, and in our lives.
Overview

City Campus, Early Years – Year 1

For children aged 3 – 6

At City Campus we want our children to spend their days in an environment that provides them with every opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. Our children will grow to be leaders in their community and so we have built on the foundation of the National Curriculum of England by adding linguistic and cultural respect for modern China to create internationally minded, creative children who experience the best of both education worlds. We want children to have a balance of academic, cultural, and expressive play. Every day at City Campus children grow as environmental leaders by caring for plants and animals and in turn appreciating the beauty and complexity of their world. We are proud of our role in the rich 450-year history of Harrow and each day our children are encouraged to apply the Harrow values in their play, academics, and self-expression.
